What is death note book?

Death Note is a fictional supernatural notebook in the eponymous manga and anime series created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The book grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name is written in its pages. The series follows Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers the Death Note and decides to use it to rid the world of criminals and become a "god" of his own utopian world.

The Death Note has specific rules and limitations. For example, the user must know both the name and face of the person they wish to kill, and they can specify the cause and time of death in the notebook. The user can also control the actions of the victim before their death, as long as they do not exceed 23 days in total. If a name is written on the notebook without specifying a cause of death, the victim will die of a heart attack by default.

The Death Note has received critical acclaim for its unique premise, complex characters, and thematics on morality and power. It has also generated controversy for its themes of violence and vigilantism. Multiple adaptations have been made of Death Note, including a live-action film, TV drama, and a Netflix original series.
